1. Killgrave (Purple Man)

Kilgrave, also known as Purple Man, was the main antagonist of Daredevil in his earlier days and is the chief antagonist of Jessica Jones in his latter days. He is a physician turned spy. Killgrave, following an accident on a mission where he is sent to infiltrate a chemical refinery, gets doused by a chemical that turned his skin and hair purple, birthing his superpower. His body produced morphemes that when inhaled give him the ability to control an individual as long as he is physically present.

2. Thanos

Thanos is a supervillain with purple skins who appeared in Marvel comics. He is one of the most powerful beings in the universe and has been a major foe of the Avengers. He is the Dark Lord of the Sith who seeks to collect all six Infinity Stones in order to destroy half the universe. He is usually portrayed as a powerful and intelligent being who is obsessed with death and destruction. He often uses his great strength and cosmic powers to try to achieve his goals, which typically involve wiping out half of all life in the Universe.

3. Betsy Braddock

Betsy Braddock was born in the small town of Maldon, Essex in England to Sir James Braddock. She has a twin brother named Brian. Betsy together with her two brothers led a privileged life and by the time she was in college, she was a charter pilot.

After being captured by the Red Skull’s agents, and being saved by Captain America and Captain Britain, whom she later learns is Brian her twin brother, Betsy began to develop precognitive powers. As a result, she dyes her hair purple and takes up modeling. By the time she was 21 years old, her psychic powers are fully developed, which includes telepathy. Her first affiliation was with S.T.R.I.K.E Psi Division, having been recruited by Agent Matthew.

Throughout her Marvel career, Betsy has acted in various capacities, such as Captain Britain, Psylocke (after being kidnapped by Mojo) and Lady Mandarin after switching body with the former. She also fought against notable foes such as Slaymaster and Phoenix amongst others.

4. Kara Killgrave (Purple Girl)

Kara Kilgrave, known as Persuasion and Purple Girl, is the daughter of Killgrave (Purple Man) and Melaine. She was conceived during Melaine’s captivity days under Kilgrave control, and her pregnancy was only discovered after Melaine was set free from Kilgrave’s control. At the onset of puberty, her appearance changed to purple, and unable to deal with the changes, she ran away. Kara aligns herself with the Beta and Alpha fathers, and her powers are similar to her father. She also worked closely with Jessica Jones in subduing her father and keeping him from escaping.

5. Medusa

Medusa belongs to a race of beings called the Inhumans. Inhumans are prehistoric earthlings and were mutated by exposure to Terrigen Mists, produced in the deep parts of Attilan in the Blue Area of the Moon. She married Black Bolt and acts as his counselor and interpreter. Her superpowers include the telekinetic use of her hair to lift and fight during battles. Medusa’s first appearance was in the Fantastic Four. Her younger sister married Quicksilver.

6. Drax the Destroyer

Drax the Destroyer was created after the life essence of Arthur Douglas’ is transferred to an artificial body following an attack by the supervillain Thanos. The attack led to the death of his wife and separated him from his daughter, who later becomes Moondragon. This transfer was done by Thanos’ father, Mentor, and Kronos, who fear the threat posed by Thanos. His sole purpose is to defeat Thanos. Drax’s superpowers include enhanced strength, durability, and shooting energy blasts from his hands. Although he lost some of his ability, he still presents a formidable foe.

7. Morgan Le Fay

Morgan Le Fay was born in Tintagel Castle, in Cornwall, England. She is the half-sister to King Arthur. She has a strong affinity for magic and can project herself into the astral plane. She is a close ally of Doctor Doom and also seems to have been in a relationship with him. Her magical skills are formidable having been a student of Merlin and practicing magic for years.
